A Personal Storage Table (.pst) file is an open proprietary file format used to store copies of messages, calendar events, and other items within Microsoft software such as Microsoft Exchange Client, Windows Messaging, and Microsoft Outlook. There may come a time when you need more space or you just want to clean up your email. A simple way to do that is to offload some of your .pst file to a separate location into an achieve. This article will describe how to use outlooks built-in import/export function to handle your .pst file.

- Tick the Include subfolders
- Click the radio button, Import items into the same subfolder in. Then, from the dropdown options in the box below this radio button, select Online Archive – <your mailbox>.
9. Click Finish.
The content you have chosen to copy, from the .pst file you selected, will be copied into the destination you specified (for example, your Online Archive), with duplicates dealt with as you indicated earlier, in Step 6.
